Mom and Me Swim Classes

We went to our first class yesterday and I thought it was silly. We play games and get wet, and I was thinking how I could have done it all on my own. Today I realized how special Eve thought the class was. This was a whole half hour that she had my undivided attention. When we go swimming as a family she doesn't get that. Now we have two weeks of one on one time scheduled for the second child who's probably never had so much parent time just to herself. So today I don't think the class is so silly after all.

Lily is just finishing her own swimming class at that time, so she's getting dried off and changed under the watchful eye of one of my friends. After that we all go to the cafeteria for free lunches.

I miss teaching swimming.Eve sounds like a real little water baby!

That sounds like fun! I know how hard it can be to give undivided attention to each kid.

Free lunch? There is no such thing as a free lunch! ;) When I make a conscious effort to spend one on one time with my kids I see the difference it makes. I need to be better about that. They're now getting one on one time with Grandma too- which they LOVE.
