The answer to the first riddle is 6 and the answer to the other is they can face opposite directions and be facing each other at the same time. One faces east and the other one stands in front of the first facing west.
Try to find something a little more challenging next time.
I guess this is challenging enough since you're wrong..try again on the first one. You did get the second one right though.
how is the anwser to the first one not 6?
ANSWER: Five, not six! He cuts each link of only one chain and then mends them to link the other five pieces together.
