Christmas was excellent. We spent a evening with two of my sisters on their way through to visit family and got to play with our new nephew again and his two older sisters.
Here's Gordon "helping" with the baby (aren't they cute?)
Christmas Eve we went to Old Town Santa Fe with Gordon's parents and his sister, Bettie and her family. We were very tempted to buy the wares of the craftsmen in Santa Fe. There was an especially fun stand where a woman had carved rocks and made clocks. They were all fun and if I had $200 just laying around I would have got one. She did offer to trade me one for my coat, but it was cold, the coat was more valuable to me at the time.

Christmas morning was fun. Lily woke up first. I heard her out in the living room. I went out to find that she had arranged all of the gifts into piles and counted them and knew all of the stats on them. She noted who had the most, least, biggest and smallest gifts. I had her put them all back under the tree so we could take pictures.
Gordon bought himself, his dad and our brother-in-law nerf dart guns. We had wars going continuously for the next several days. We've lost most of the darts now but it was great exercise.
Happy Late Christmas!

Nerf dart guns, how perfect. :)
You guys look like you had a great Christmas together! I bet you all love having family close enough to do that kind of stuff.
I really do
Ok, but really, the guns were so fun! I never would have bought them myself - but Isobel turned out to be quite the sniper. She would hide in the computer room and shoot darts thru the shelves above the fireplace. She caught us unawares MANY times!
