Bosque Del Apache

We drove down to the Bosque because we heard tell that it was a refuge for thousands of cranes that have curious flight patterns. We heard tell that at sunrise they all take off at once and you get to see thousands of the large birds in the air at once. Once we got there we learned it was a little bit different. Apparently the geese fly all at once, as do the ducks, but the crane fly in small family groups. It was a cold morning watching all of this.
