Our computer has been acting up the last several days. It would only work for a couple of minutes, then freeze. We did several things on our own to try and fix it but it was to no avail. Finally Gordon called his brother Ryan aka "smart guy" and he walked us through several things to help us get our computer back online. The thing that seemed to do the most good was being advised to dust our machine. We didn't know that you're supposed to do that regularly. we had never done it. But it popped back on to its peppy self after some one on one time with the compressed air can.
So, Hooray! Our computer works again!

To Sum Up
Petroglyph National Monument again
Wow!
The day after Roswell we went to the Carlsbad Caverns. I was amazed! They are SO BIG! It's hard to describe. If you ever get the chance, come and see these caves! We plan on going again this summer, but they are great any time of year.

Natural entrance (you can skip this and take the elevator, but we chose to walk)

Gordon, Bettie and some of the kids.
This is the most decorated cave I've seen. (I've been in six or seven caves) It really is so impressive. My pictures don't do it justice.

Very Cool!

Christmas Past
I haven't dropped off the planet. I've just been too busy enjoying it to stop and blog. That and I lost my card reader so I couldn't show you all of the wonderful places we've been to visit over the last month.
Christmas was excellent. We spent a evening with two of my sisters on their way through to visit family and got to play with our new nephew again and his two older sisters.

Here's Gordon "helping" with the baby (aren't they cute?)
Christmas Eve we went to Old Town Santa Fe with Gordon's parents and his sister, Bettie and her family. We were very tempted to buy the wares of the craftsmen in Santa Fe. There was an especially fun stand where a woman had carved rocks and made clocks. They were all fun and if I had $200 just laying around I would have got one. She did offer to trade me one for my coat, but it was cold, the coat was more valuable to me at the time.

Us in front of the oldest church still standing the USA. It's an old mission from the early 1600's.

Ice sculptures in the plaza
Christmas morning was fun. Lily woke up first. I heard her out in the living room. I went out to find that she had arranged all of the gifts into piles and counted them and knew all of the stats on them. She noted who had the most, least, biggest and smallest gifts. I had her put them all back under the tree so we could take pictures.

Gordon bought himself, his dad and our brother-in-law nerf dart guns. We had wars going continuously for the next several days. We've lost most of the darts now but it was great exercise.
Happy Late Christmas!
