We finally finished our living room. So we hung family pictures up on our wall. It's only been a year and a half!

Christmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS

We had a good Christmas. In the morning I awoke to paper tearing. I yelled for Lily to wait for us and Gordon and I got out of bed quick so we wouldn't miss any more. We went to church in the afternoon. Gordon sang in the choir. It was nice that Christmas was on Sunday, to have a church service helped have the Spirit of Christ really be part of our day. Thankyou everyone who gave us cards and gifts, we love hearing from you.

Temple lights again

We went to the temple lights again. This is a wonderful tradition here in Mesa. There is a different music group performing every night. Tonight it was Carson Jr. High, several of "my girls" from my class at church are in this choir. There is a life size nativity, Lily was so excited to see baby Jesus. I hope it helped re-enforce a little why we celebrate Christmas.

A day at the beach

We went to California to celebrate the marriage of Gordon's cousin. We went a day early to play. Our friends Rachel and Mike took us to Cabrillo beach and aquarium. We were all facsinated by the sea life there.

Lily's Dance recital

We just went to Lily's dance recital. It was so cute. I love to see little girls in tutus. Lily did a really good job. Her teacher put her right in the middle so the other girls could watch her.
There was also a suprise guest performance of swing dance!!!

Arizona Temple lights

The lights decorating the grounds here are beautiful. They also have concerts every night for the whole month. We came and heard the High School choir sing, they did a wonderful job. I'm hoping to go back and get some better pictures. But this is what I have so far.
