Some Good News

Our computer has been acting up the last several days. It would only work for a couple of minutes, then freeze. We did several things on our own to try and fix it but it was to no avail. Finally Gordon called his brother Ryan aka "smart guy" and he walked us through several things to help us get our computer back online. The thing that seemed to do the most good was being advised to dust our machine. We didn't know that you're supposed to do that regularly. we had never done it. But it popped back on to its peppy self after some one on one time with the compressed air can.

So, Hooray! Our computer works again!

Recently Finished Projects!

I made a closet out of my wet bar by adding shelves, turning off the water supply to the sink and hanging curtains to hide it all.

I made a slip cover for the bookshelf and put it in our entryway for a pretty side table. It hides some of our collection of paperbacks.

To Sum Up

We loved having so much family to play with over Thanksgiving and Christmas. We hope everyone had such a good time they'll keep coming back for more. Eve is still praying that Grandma and Grandpa will come over soon.

Petroglyph National Monument again

We took our visitors to see the petroglyphs and show off some of our local sites. We happened to catch some wildlife too!

The bunny

More Bunnies!

Wow!

The day after Roswell we went to the Carlsbad Caverns. I was amazed! They are SO BIG! It's hard to describe. If you ever get the chance, come and see these caves! We plan on going again this summer, but they are great any time of year.

Natural entrance (you can skip this and take the elevator, but we chose to walk)

Gordon, Bettie and some of the kids.

This is the most decorated cave I've seen. (I've been in six or seven caves) It really is so impressive. My pictures don't do it justice.

Very Cool!
