A red-eye night
It all started when my friend's daughter got pink eye. Then again, it didn't start with her, I'm sure she got it from someone else. Their family did what they could, giving her medicine and quarantining themselves for a recommended amount of time. But Eve still caught it. Then the family we carpool with for Lily's school had it. Last night Gordon gazed deep into my eyes, and commented, that they were starting to turn red. Yes, it seems as though I have it too. This morning Abigail woke up without opening her eyes, since they were glued shut, and she has it too. So we're quarantined. We have eye drops to help it go away, and hopefully we'll not spread it to anyone else.

Happy Birthday Lily!
Lily is Six! We had a bike and scooter party for her. The kids came with their own bikes and scooters and played in the parking lots, having a great time making big loops. We BBQed hot dogs and hambergers. Did a pinata and cake. It was really simple, but the kids all seemed to have fun. And the grownups enjoyed the chat time.

The cake that had rave reviews for the icing. Yummy Lemon.

Exercises
My two-year-old's tongue is out of shape apparently. We're supposed to encourage her to stick it out and lick things to help it exercise. A strong tongue can enunciate words better. So I'm trying to think of ways to help that.
Ketchup
lollipops
popcicles
ice cream cones
cake batter off of beaters
After her tongue is strong she'll need to exercise more to work off the sweets.
